Sempoi Coffee & Kek Gula Hangus

Assalaamualaikum..
Last Saturday we went to Ija's kenduri doa selamat as she will be going for Hajj soon. As usual, we only arrived around 3.30pm. Lambat tol. What else, makan beriye2 & we left her house around 6.00 pm.

Then we went to Alamanda, just window shopping till maghrib.As usual, during weekend, Alamanda will be full of people usually families so faham2 la nak solat. Ramai tol, luckily I did bring my telekung so senang lah sikit. We left Alamanda around 7.40pm and thinking where should we 'ngeteh'? As usual, Bangi lah (x payah nak fikir pun kan, dah takde tempat lain). We decided to try this Kopitiam, near Radix Fried Chicken. Boleh la, not bad, byk jugak choice.



Okeh..ada lagi cerita best ni. Sebenarnya dah quite sometime hubby tanya bila nak wat kek gula hangus utk dia. So i yang mithali ni pun kata..beli kan lagi senang..hehe. Tapi beli kan mahal..1 slice (yg tiup je boleh terbang tu), harganya 50 sen. During fasting month I selalu belikan hubby, ada pakcik jual kat office. Tu yg I malas nak buat sbb bila harga mahal I thought mesti susah giler nk wat kek ni. I pun try tanya madam Google. Sekali la kan terkejut la sbb senang je nak buat. Chewah..blom buat dah kata senang. I took this recepi but buat tukun..haha.
Kenapa tetiba je ckp Melayu ni...Oh My English!

So yesterday yang indah, I merajinkan diri to bake this cake...huhu. Got the recepi from here

Resepi Kek Gula Hangus
Bahan-bahan
1 cwn gula
1 cwn air panas
2 sudu besar mentega
4 biji telur
1 cwn susu pekat
1 cwn tepung gandum
2 sd kecil soda bikarbonat
1 sd kecil esen vanilla

Cara Menyediakannya.
1.    Gula digoreng dengan api sederhana besar.
2.     Bila gula sudah agak cair, masukkan air panas.
3.    Selepas itu, masukkan mentega dan kacau sampai mentega cair dan ketepikan.
4.    Kemudian, pukul telur sampai kembang & pekat.
5.    Masukkan susu pekat dan pukul lagi.
6.    Masukkan tepung dan soda bikarbonat yang telah diayak. (I tak ayak pun sbb x de tmpt nak ayak..hehe)
7.    Tuangkan esen vanilla. Kacau.
8.    Akhir sekali, masukkan gula hangus tadi. Gaul sebati.
9.    Perap adunan ini selama 3 hingga 4 jam (bertutup) bagi mendapatkan sarang yang cantik.
10.    Dan bakar selama 60 minit di mana suhu oven 160 °c. (Tak sampai 60 minit pun dah gelap je kek tu, terus I off oven)

Perhatian ye Puan2, when you put in the hot water in the sugar yg tgh cair tu, dia akan meruap & berbuih2 & bunyi cam meletup2 sikit. Sikit je..jgn gabra okeh..tp I gabra gak semlm..huhu.

Taraaa...Inilah hasilnya..sib baik jadi, kalau tak kesian la kan my hubby kena makan gak..
